Ch. Shadowlakes King Oberon, CGC  “Obe”

Obe came to us from Linda Robbins of Shadowlakes Boston Terriers.  Obe is CERF, BAER, and Patella normal and registered with OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). 

 

Obe is our first Boston and the one that got us hooked!  He is smart, funny and super athletic!  He finished his conformation career in April of 07 at the age of 2 years old.  Obe was just awarded his CGC award at the Flagstaff Kennel Club show, June of 08.  He passed in record time with no mistakes!  He will be starting his Rally, Obedience and Agility training this fall!  We expect great things out of Obe and can’t wait to get started!

Boomer came to us from Kim and Whitney Rutherford of Brio Boston’s in Texas.  We feel so lucky to have Boomer join our family, he fit in immediately and has made us laugh since the moment he arrived!  He has a wonderfully sweet disposition and a magnificent head piece!  Boomer is a unique brindle and is exactly the color the forefathers of this breed strived for.  Until 1932 the only acceptable color was brindle with required white markings.  We feel Boomer will not only be an important part of our breeding program but an asset to the breed it’s self. 

 

Boomer finished his conformation career on a very special day in Sept. of 07.  This was his previous owner/breeder/handler’s birthday, Whitney Rutherford.  Boomer was completely trained and handled by juniors Whitney and Hayley except for one show when Hayley was out of town.  Anytime Boomer and Hayley step in the ring the ringside spectators are amazed at the connection the two have, they adore each other and it is very apparent in the ring.  Hayley will go on showing Boomer on a limited basis as a special and eventually work towards his CGC, Rally, Obedience and agility titles.
